At the Vietnam – Asia DX Summit 2024, technology experts from CMC Global discussed using AI and automation technologies to address business optimization challenges, contributing to the digital transformation and sustainable development of businesses.
This annual event, organized by the Vietnam Software and IT Services Association (VINASA) and sponsored by the Ministry of Information and Communications under the National Digital Transformation Program until 2025, took place on May 28 and 29, 2024, in Hanoi.
Data: The Key to Successful Digital Transformation
During the “Digital Transformation – Green Transformation” session, Mr. Dang Van Tu, Chief Technology Officer of CMC Global with over 18 years of industry experience, emphasized that the dynamic and robust digital transformation in Vietnam and Asia heavily relies on data.
“Every digital transformation issue is tied to data. While data storage might be straightforward, data processing varies significantly. Depending on the goal, there must be an appropriate data reservoir along with effective exploitation tools and processing methods,” stated Mr. Dang Van Tu.
Data mining is one of the critical elements outlined in policies to help Vietnam actively engage in the Fourth Industrial Revolution (according to Resolution No. 52-NQ/TU of the Politburo). With over 70% of the population using the Internet, big data is crucial for developing Vietnam’s digital economy and society.
Solutions for Data Storage and Processing in Digital Transformation
Effective data mining can drive significant changes for businesses, and many enterprises involved in digital transformation have seen substantial success. However, numerous businesses struggle with where to begin digital transformation and how to manage and utilize data effectively while ensuring information security. This challenge is particularly pronounced in businesses with limited financial and human resources.
“The increasing volume of data and the need for real-time decision-making demand a more sophisticated form of automation. Beyond merely adapting to changes, these solutions must learn from interactions and make intelligent decisions. This is where AI comes into play,” explained Mr. Luong Anh Tuan, Director of Business Process Automation (BPA) at CMC Global, during the event.
By integrating BPA with AI, businesses can automate complex processes that traditional methods couldn’t handle, enhancing their competitiveness in today’s rapidly evolving technology landscape, according to Mr. Luong Anh Tuan.
To address business operation optimization and better support customers in managing and processing data, CMC Global has employed AI technology, automation, low code, and cloud computing infrastructure to reduce server load. Traditional manual tasks such as data entry and paperwork have been automated, saving time, resources, and operating costs.
This approach has helped a 5-star airline save 520,000 hours of manual labor annually, with 45 million transactions processed by robots. At the “Digital Transformation – Green Transformation” session, CMC Global presented automation solutions that integrate AI technology, improving operational efficiency for businesses by over 80%.
In addition to automation, CMC Global has built a strong reputation through its consulting and implementation expertise, successfully executing digital transformation projects for thousands of domestic and international businesses. CMC Global’s solutions, including automation, data analysis, and cloud computing, assist businesses struggling with data collection and processing and workflow optimization. Consequently, customers can reduce manual labor hours and operational costs, enhancing business efficiency.
