The delegation was welcomed by Mr. Ho Thanh Tung, CEO of CMC Corporation, along with leaders from CMC’s member companies, as well as directors and representatives from the Corporation’s overseas offices. The visit highlighted the alignment between Vietnam’s national economic diplomacy strategy and the global expansion ambitions of Vietnamese technology enterprises.
During the meeting, Mr. Ho Thanh Tung extended his warm welcome and appreciation to the Heads of Vietnam’s Overseas Missions for taking the time to engage with CMC ahead of the national celebrations. Reflecting on the Group’s achievements in 2025, CMC reaffirmed its long-term technology vision and emphasized its role in contributing to Vietnam’s emergence as a new hub for AI innovation and digital development.
AI Transformation: Accelerating Strategy for 2026–2030
At the meeting, CEO Ho Thanh Tung shared CMC’s strategic focus for the 2026–2030 period, centered on the AI-X Transformation vision. First introduced in 2024, the AI-X strategy has already been deployed across a wide range of CMC’s global clients.

Entering 2026, CMC identifies this as a pivotal phase to accelerate the execution of the strategy under the message “Accelerate Your AI-X Transforms,” focusing on expanding AI-driven transformation solutions and developing digital infrastructure platforms to serve global customers.
“In 2026, CMC Global, the international business arm of CMC Corporation, will take a pioneering role in bringing CMC’s AI-X solutions to the global market. We are focusing on developing deep technology products built upon core technologies that have already been proven through numerous projects with international clients. At the same time, CMC aims to expand its global footprint to more than 30 offices worldwide, creating the foundation for breakthrough growth and moving toward our ambition of becoming a billion-dollar technology corporation in the coming years,” emphasized Mr. Ho Thanh Tung, CEO of CMC Corporation.
Go Global: Expanding Presence in Key Markets
Another key topic of discussion was CMC’s plan to significantly expand its presence in strategic markets, including the United States, the Asia-Pacific region (APAC), and the European Union (EU). These markets are considered central to CMC’s global strategy, where the company plans to deploy advanced technology solutions to address the rapidly growing digital transformation demands of international organizations and enterprises.
Through its Go Global strategy, CMC aims to integrate Vietnamese technology products and services more deeply into the global value chain while becoming a trusted partner of the Government in advancing science and technology to support private sector growth and international economic integration.
Malaysia: A Strategic Gateway for CMC in ASEAN
During the meeting, Ms. Pham Thuy Nga, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to Malaysia, congratulated CMC as the Group approaches its 33rd anniversary, and highly praised the company’s young and dynamic workforce.

She noted that the Embassy of Vietnam in Malaysia will closely coordinate with CMC to support the company in connecting with partners and expanding its presence in the Malaysian market, in line with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ economic diplomacy strategy.
“We hope to contribute to bringing Vietnam’s knowledge and technological capabilities to Malaysia. This will not only support Vietnamese enterprises in expanding their markets but also contribute to the broader development of the regional technology ecosystem,” Ambassador Pham Thuy Nga shared.
The cooperation between Vietnamese technology companies and Malaysia’s innovation ecosystem is expected to open up new opportunities for collaboration in AI, digital infrastructure, and technology services. For CMC, expanding partnerships in Malaysia could serve as a strategic gateway to deepen its presence in the ASEAN market, demonstrating Vietnam’s growing capability not only in exporting traditional products but also in delivering technology, innovation, and digital expertise to the region.
