As part of its efforts to promote business activities in the Korean market, on March 14th, 2024, CMC Global Co., Ltd. (a member of CMC Corporation) announced cooperation with Linkproject Company through the Memorandum of Understanding signing ceremony held in Hanoi, Vietnam. This event marks a step in promoting strategic cooperation between the two companies, aiming to establish themselves as leaders in consulting and deploying digital transformation services for Korean clients, especially in the retail and e-commerce industry.
Accordingly, Linkproject serves as a partner to support CMC Global in connecting with Korean businesses operating in the retail and e-commerce industry. This cooperation will help open up opportunities for Korean businesses to access Vietnamese digital transformation products, services and solutions, aiming to realize the mission of developing and providing global IT services.
Representatives present at the signing ceremony from CMC Global included Mr. Dang Ngoc Bao, CEO of CMC Global and Executive Vice President of CMC Corporation, and Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Giang, Director of the Korean market division at CMC Global. On behalf of Linkproject, attendees included Mr. Alex Kwon, CEO of Linkproject, and Mr. Patrick Kim, CEO of Tech Valley, a partner of Linkproject facilitating connections with CMC Global.

Leveraging the capabilities, positions, and experiences of both parties, this partnership is poised to unlock numerous new business prospects, fostering the growth of digital transformation services and the supply of high-quality IT talent in both the Korean and global markets.
Before the signing ceremony, representatives from Linkproject visited and worked with CMC Global leaders in early March 2023. They expressed their impression of CMC Global’s capacity and scale in their area of interest.
The Korean government plans to invest $1.35 billion in research and development of new technologies to serve the goal of digital transformation (according to statistics from KoreaTimes). With a high GDP growth rate, the IT segment is invested in by the Korean Government, making this country a potential market for CMC Global to make its mark in the region.
According to a representative of CMC Global, this year, this business also plans to open a representative office in Korea to reach new customers, expand its business model in Korea as well as in the region, aiming to towards the goal of achieving “billion dollar” revenue from foreign markets.
